About Concord Junior High School

The entire student body and staff gather in the gym every Friday for Convocation. We celebrate our #ConcordPride as we sing the school fight song, recognize academic and athletic teams, and celebrate team and individual accomplishments.

Students enjoy the small community feel they get from the block team structure. The block team structure is a group of teachers from various content areas (Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Wellness) who share the same students throughout the day. Teachers collaborated to create a learning environment where students are supported and cared for.

CJHS partners with 5-Star Life to provide a high-energy after school program for all students who want to have a blast learning how to be their best. Students can choose to participate in one or all three of the 8-week sessions. During each session students meet with their “Head Coach” once a week for two hours after school. 5-Star Life challenges students to change the way they live by changing the way they think. Focusing on the five core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, sacrifice, and courage, students learn strategies and skills to reach their highest academic and personal achievements.

Raise Money with Box Tops
We are a “Box Top” school! All funds raised help pay for facilitating the 5-Star program.
Look for the many name brand “Box Top” items when grocery shopping. Each clipped box top turned in is 10 cents for our school!
